KUCHING, April 7 -- A total of 15,087 or 81.57 of the total number of COVID-19 patients in Sarawak have recovered and discharged from hospital so far, according to the State Disaster Management Committee.
It said the 158 patients who recovered today involved 35 at Miri Hospital, Sarawak General Hospital (34), Sibu Hospital (19), Sarikei Hospital (17), COVID-19 Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) at Kapit Hospital (17), Bintulu Hospital (12), PKRC Serian (six), PKRC Sri Aman Hospital (six), PKRC Mukah Hospital (five), Limbang Hospital (four) and PKRC Betong (three).
Meanwhile, Sarawak also recorded 332 new positive cases, bringing the cumulative number to 18,496 cases and two more fatalities with the total number now reaching 116.
The two deaths were at Sibu Hospital involving a 61-yar-old local man on April 5 and a local woman, aged 86, yesterday, with both having comorbidities.
