KOTA KINABALU, May 4 -- A total of 48,935 individuals in Sabah have completed both doses of the vaccine jabs as of today through the state-level National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme, said Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun.
He said that 72,004 individuals had received the first dose of the vaccine jab.
“Meanwhile, 2,762 people registered today for the vaccination, taking the cumulative number of registrants thus far to 469,318,” he said in a statement today.
On the COVID-19 development in Sabah, Masidi said 89 new cases were recorded today, taking the total number of infections in the state to 58,461.
There were 109 recoveries over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries in Sabah to 57,173.
He said that, as of today, 318,760 food baskets had been distributed to the affected groups under the COVID-19 Prihatin Assistance Programme 2.0.
