15/09/2021 07:06 PM

SEREMBAN, Sept 15 -- The Negeri Sembilan government has given a RM2,000 reward to each official and player of Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) for qualifying for next season’s Super League.

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the reward is a token of appreciation for the ‘Hobin Jang Hobin’ squad’s qualification, not just for the Super League, but also for the M   alaysia Cup.

"It is fervently hoped that the state incentive will add momentum in team spirit to excel in the forthcoming Super League and Malaysia Cup," he told reporters following a dinner hosted for the NSFC team which was attended by NSFC (PBNS) president Tunku Besar Tampin Tunku Syed Razman Tunku Syed Idris Al-Qadri here yesterday.

Aminuddin, who is also NSFC advisor, said that after Negeri Sembilan transitions to Phase Four of the National Recovery Plan (PPN), they plan to re-open the stadium to football fans.

Meanwhile, Tunku Syed Razman said NSFC will be on a stronger footing in the financial and management aspects for the Super League next season.

NSFC currently lead the Premier League on 38 points, followed by Sarawak United on 37 points.

The champion of the Premier League will be decided on Sept 21 when NSFC meet PDRM FC while Sarawak United play Johor Darul Ta’zim II, also on the same day.
