SHARJAH (United Arab Emirates), July 12 (Bernama-WAM) -- Al Noor Island, Sharjah's award-winning family-friendly destination, has been named one of the top 10 attractions in the Middle East, winning the prestigious 'Best of the Best' title for 2024 on TripAdvisor for the second consecutive year.
Developed by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Al Noor Island is celebrated for its unique blend of nature, art and entertainment, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The Mleiha Archaeological Centre, known for its significant natural and archaeological sites, has also won the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award for 2024, marking its seventh consecutive win.
Shurooq's Director of Operations and Tourism Development, Mahmoud Rashid Deemas expressed gratitude for the honours, highlighting the positive feedback from visitors as a testament to their high-quality service and commitment to excellence.
TripAdvisor's 'Best of the Best' title is awarded to the top 1 per cent of listings based on millions of traveller reviews.
Al Noor Island, located in Khaled Lagoon offers a harmonious mix of nature, art and entertainment, while Mleiha Archaeological Centre provides a range of activities for thrill-seekers amid its historical sites.
