KUALA LUMPUR, July 26 (Bernama) -- Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan met with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy on the sidelines of the 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Post-Ministerial Conference (57th AMM/PMC) on Friday.

The Foreign Ministry, also known as Wisma Putra posted on Facebook, said Mohamad Lammy had discussed various issues of common interest, including to reinvigorate and deepening bilateral collaboration in technology and energy cooperation; digital transition; education and health cooperation.

“On international and regional matters, both sides agreed to work for a fair and just resolution for the Palestinian and Myanmar issues as well as the Russia-Ukraine conflict,” it said.

In a separate Facebook post, Wisma Putra stated that Mohamad met Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide on the sidelines of the 57th AMM/PMC.

“Both were committed in expeditiously concluding the pending Malaysia-European Free Trade Association Economic Partnership Agreement (MEEPA).
