ABHA (Saudi Arabia) July 30 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Aseer region is experiencing a remarkable summer season characterised by heavy rainfall, cool temperatures, and breathtakingly dense fog blanketing the southern highlands.
Stunning cumulus clouds, often obscuring the sun, have created a picturesque backdrop for visitors to Abha and neighboring towns.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) lens captured the rainy atmosphere as well as the cloud formations on the peaks of Aseer mountains that attracted tourists and vacationers from the Kingdom and abroad who immortalised them on their smartphones.
According to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), the Aseer region will witness moderate to heavy rains starting today.
NCM said that these weather conditions will continue until August 4, and that on Thursday and Friday, there is a chance of heavy rains and hail showers.
