The construction of Cambodia’s Techo International Airport is over 80 per cent complete, with a total investment of US$1.2 billion. It is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024. Located 20 kilometres south of Phnom Penh, the airport is designed to accommodate long-haul trans-continental flights and large aircraft.

 

2. Cambodian farmers urged to grow fragrant rice to boost income -- Khmer Times

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is urging Cambodian farmers to grow fragrant varieties to boost their income as they command higher prices in the market. Fragrant rice varieties “Romduol” and “Sen Kro Ob” are renowned for their distinct aroma and flavour, and are highly in demand in domestic and international markets.
