KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- Turkiye participated in the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair last weekend, showcasing its rich cultural heritage along with the involvement of Bozdag Film Platoları, the world’s third-largest film studio.

In a statement, Turkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency said the event was graced by Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar and the ambassador of Turkiye to Malaysia, Emir Salim Yuksel.

There were also special appearances from the stars of Kuruluş: Osman, a historical fiction Turkish television series produced by Bozdag Film. The stars who appeared at the event included Ozge Torer (Bala Hatun), Faruk Aran (Alaeddin Bey), and Belgin Şimşek (Gonca Hatun), the statement said.

“Their engagement with fans and the lively interactions at the booth created an exciting atmosphere, drawing significant attention and enthusiasm from attendees,” it added.

According to the statement, Bozdag Film Platoları, located in Istanbul, is famed for its meticulous recreation of historical sets which capture pivotal moments in Turkish history and have become a major attraction for tourists and history enthusiasts from all over the world.

At Bozdag Film Platoları, visitors embark on a captivating journey through Turkish history, exploring the meticulously recreated sections of the Kayı Tribe, prominently featured in beloved television series such as Diriliş: Ertugrul and Kuruluş: Osman, said the statement.

Visitors can capture stunning photographs in traditional Turkish attire and participate in various immersive activities, from horseback riding to exploring artisan craftsmanship.

The impressive horseback dance performance, “Legend of the Horses,” staged at Bozdag Film Platoları, comes to life through the dedication of a 42-member team who spent six months preparing for this mesmerising show.

Bozdag Film Platoları also features the Söğüt 1299 Restaurant, where visitors can savour traditional Anatolian dishes that form the foundation of contemporary Turkish cuisine. The rich culinary heritage of the Ottoman Empire, shaped by interactions with various cultures, is brought to life here, it added.

The statement said visitors can enjoy the diversity and richness of Turkish cuisine in an authentic Turkish tent, surrounded by a genuine ambience.

For those seeking a moment of tranquillity amidst the excitement, Bozdag Film Platoları offers a serene corner where visitors can savour unique traditional beverages and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of centuries past, said the statement.
