KATHMANDU, Jan 8 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and 23 others injured in a bus accident on the outskirts of Kathmandu on Wednesday evening, a police official said, reported Xinhua.
The bus, carrying around 40 people, plunged about 100 meters off a highway, leading to the fatal incident.
Pawan Bhattarai, spokesperson for the district police range, said some of the injured are in serious condition.
The bus was carrying picnickers who work for an organisation based in the capital, and police are investigating the cause of the accident, Bhattarai added.
