FBM KLCI Futures Post Early Gains

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures rose in early Tuesday trading on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

As of 9.25 am, September 2024 contract rose 9.5 points to 1,657.0, October 2024 advanced 10.5 points to 1,660.5, December 2024 gained 11.0 points to 1,665.0, and March 2025 added 9.0 points to 1,650.0.

Turnover stood at 999 lots, with open interest at 45,392 contracts.

The FBM KLCI rose 1.42 points to 1,653.57 after 25 minutes of trading.
