FBM KLCI Futures Declines In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures were lower in the early trading session on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.

At 9.25 am, September 2024 contract eased 3.0 points to 1,659.0, October 2024 fell 4.0 points to 1,660.5, December 2024 declined 5.0 points to 1,665.0, and March 2025 shed 4.5 points to 1,652.0.

Turnover stood at 1,390 lots, with open interest at 45,212 contracts.

The FBM KLCI slipped 5.73 points to 1,658.55 after 35 minutes of trading.
