FBM KLCI Futures End Lower In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the performance of the underlying cash market. 

Spot months September 2024, October 2024, December 2024 and March 2025 all eased 2.0 points to 1,660.0, 1,662.5, 1,668.0, and 1,654.5, respectively. 

Turnover fell to 5,298 lots from 8,651 lots on Tuesday, while open interest eased to 48,219 contracts from 51,615 yesterday.  

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 3.69 points, or 0.22 per cent,  to 1,660.59 from Tuesday's close of 1,664.28.
