FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.

Spot month September 2024 fell 12.0 points to 1,658.5, October 2024 declined 10.5 points to 1,663.5, December 2024 edged down 9.0 points to 1,670.0 and March 2025 slipped 10.0 points to 1,655.5. 

Turnover dropped to 34,934 lots from 84,196 lots on Thursday, while open interest reduced to 90,858 contracts from 139,450 contracts previously.  

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 11.23 points, or 0.67 per cent, to settle at 1,660.09 from Thursday’s close of 1,671.32.
