FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.

Spot month September 2024 fell 7.0 points to 1,651.5, October 2024 declined 10 points to 1,653.5, December 2024 shed 11.0 points to 1,659.0 and March 2025 slipped 10.5 points to 1,645.0. 

Turnover dropped to 17,403 lots from 34,934 lots last Friday, while open interest reduced to 63,477 contracts from 90,858 contracts previously.  

The FBM KLCI fell 11.18 points, or 0.67 per cent, to settle at 1,648.91 from Friday’s close of 1,660.09.
