Econpile Unit Secures Two Contracts Worth Combined RM33.3 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- Econpile Holdings Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, has secured two contracts worth a combined RM33.3 million from Sg Besi Construction Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Econpile said the work involves an undertaking to do piling and sub-structure works as a sub-contractor. 

The first contract, valued at RM21.30 million, is for a 51-storey service apartment block with 653 units located at Lorong Raja Uda 2, developed by Lofthill Development Sdn Bhd (Project Raja Uda).

The second contract, worth RM12 million, involves the construction of a 59-storey strata office block with 350 units in Kuala Lumpur for Armani Development Sdn Bhd (Project Mayang).

“Project Raja Uda is expected to be completed within 10 months, starting from Oct 2, 2024, while Project Mayang will be completed within 12 months from its commencement date, which will be announced later,” the company said.

Additionally, the projects are anticipated to contribute to the company's revenue and earnings from the financial year ending June 30, 2025, onwards.
