KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- Samaiden Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Samaiden Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM39.17 million main contract from Bahau Power Sdn Bhd to develop a 10-megawatt (MWac) large-scale solar photovoltaic power plant in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Samaiden said the contract covers the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project.

"The works are scheduled to begin on Oct 2, 2024, with completion targeted for Sept 15, 2025, or such other extended period as provided in the award," it noted.

Samaiden expects the contract to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
