FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.

Spot month October 2024 and March 2025 shed 1.5 points each to 1,639.0 and 1,631.5, respectively, while November 2024 and December 2024 fell 2.0 points each to 1,640.5 and 1,643, respectively.

Turnover rose to 6,827 lots from 4,743 on Wednesday, while open interest slipped to 47,874 contracts from 48,899 previously.  

The FBM KLCI ticked up 2.24 points, or 0.14 per cent, settling at 1,641.55 compared to Wednesday’s close of 1,639.31.
