Chinese High-tech Company ISVision Eyes Malaysian Market Entry - Dr Zaliha

PUTRAJAYA, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Chinese high-tech company ISVision (Hangzhou) Technology Co. Ltd. has expressed interest in entering the Malaysian market, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa said.

Dr Zaliha said ISVision’s intentions were revealed during her visit to two leading global companies, ISVision (Hangzhou) Technology Co. Ltd. and Dahua Technology, in Hangzhou today.

"ISVision is a high-tech firm specialising in 'industrial machine vision', focusing on automotive manufacturing and railway operations.

"They are keen to expand into Malaysia as part of their ASEAN growth strategy, with the potential to position Malaysia as their regional hub," she said in a post on her official Facebook page today.

Dr Zaliha added that discussions were also held to explore continuous investment opportunities and the business expansion of Dahua Technology in Malaysia.

Dahua Technology, a global leader in IoT-based video services since 2001, is currently operating in Malaysia through its subsidiary, Dahua Security Malaysia Sdn Bhd, located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Dr Zaliha is also scheduled to meet with Hangzhou Mayor Yao Gaoyuan today for further discussions on the KL20 project.

She is on a six-day official working visit to China, which began yesterday, aimed at exploring smart city collaborations and technology investment opportunities with China.
