FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Wednesday,

Spot months October 2024 and December 2024 slid 1.0 points to 1,635.5 and 1,642.0, respectively, while November 2024 lost 1.5 points to 1,638.5 and March 2025 lost 2.0 points to 1,630.0.

Turnover rose to 5,755 lots from 5,478 on Tuesday, while open interest widened to 46,733 contracts from 46,663 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.71 of a point, or 0.04 per cent, to 1,634.91 from yesterday’s close.
