FBM KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures were lower in the early trade today, tracking the underlying cash market. 

At 9.16 am, both October 2024 and March 2025 fell 7.0 points to 1,634.50 and 1,630.50, respectively, November 2024 slid 8.0 points to 1,637.50, and December 2024 contract declined 8.5 points to 1,641.00.

Turnover amounted to 1,329 lots, while open interest stood at 43,014 contracts.

The FBM KLCI eased 3.84 points to 1,638.13 from Tuesday’s closing of 1,641.97 after 35 minutes of trading.
