Salcon Bags External Water Reticulation Contract Worth RM18.50 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- Salcon Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Salcon Engineering Bhd has bagged a RM18.50 million contract from LTE Engineers Sdn Bhd, on behalf of F&N AgriValley Sdn Bhd.

The project entails external water reticulation works for a proposed development of a dairy cattle farming and agricultural crops centre with related facilities in Negeri Sembilan, Salcon said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

It said the project is expected to commence on Oct 21, 2024, and be completed by April 20, 2025, with no option for renewal.

“The project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Salcon group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 onwards,” it said.

Salcon added that the project would not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of the company.
