SME Bank Launches FundFest To Empower Entrepreneurs, Bridging The Financing Gap

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- SME Bank Malaysia Bhd has launched the SME Bank FundFest 2024, aimed at providing budding entrepreneurs, innovative startups, and growing businesses with opportunities to access funding facilities and participate in knowledge exchange sessions.

In a statement today, the bank said the event will feature industry experts, venture capitalists, and renowned homegrown entrepreneurs who have made a mark in the market, where they will share their valuable insights on securing funding, scaling businesses and leveraging innovative technologies.

SME Bank acting group president/chief executive officer Datuk Dr Mohammad Hardee Ibrahim highlighted that the event addresses the financing challenges faced by businesses, particularly startup enterprises.

He noted that the event will likely attract a wide array of participants, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders.

“We aim to create a space where entrepreneurs can connect with potential funders, gain expert insights, and explore new growth opportunities,” he added. 

The SME Bank FundFest 2024 will take place Oct 17-18, from 10 am to 10 pm at Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur.
