MYEG, Heitech Padu Commence Partnership For e-gov't Projects

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- MY E.G. Services Bhd (MYEG) and Heitech Padu Bhd today announced the commencement of their partnership to ensure the successful implementation of various e-government projects in Malaysia.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, MYEG said the collaboration is in line with a Teaming Agreement entered by both parties on April 15, 2024.

"The agreement paves the way for the two companies to combine their respective strengths and expertise in fulfilling the trust given to execute significant e-government projects.

"MYEG and Heitech Padu aim to work synergistically to deploy the most innovative technologies in catalysing the digital revolution of the public sector and ultimately enabling government services to be delivered to end-users at a consistently high level," it said.

Recently, HeiTech Padu secured a contract from the Road Transport Department Malaysia to build, supply, deliver, install, configure, integrate, test, and commission its hardware, software and digital systems.

The company was also awarded the National Integrated Immigration System (NIIse) project by the Immigration Department worth RM892.19 million.

"Having commenced operations nearly 25 years ago, MYEG looks forward to drawing on its proven track record and technological capabilities to support and complement Heitech Padu for the benefit of all stakeholders," said MYEG.
