FBM KLCI Futures Open Firmer

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened firmer in early trade today.

At 9.25 am, the October 2024 contract was 11.5 points stronger at 1,627.5, November 2024 jumped 11 points to 1,631.5, December 2024 climbed 12 points to 1,635.5, and March 2025 soared 15 points to 1,626.0.

Turnover reached 14,740 lots, with open interest at 65,903 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI was 8.57 points firmer at 1,626.87 after 25 minutes of trading.
