FBM KLCI Futures Ends Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Monday, mirroring the performance of the underlying cash market. 

Spot month October 2024 dropped 10 points to 1,606.0, November 2024 fell 10.5 points to 1,610.0, December 2024 declined 9.5 points to 1,623.5, and March 2025 slid 8.5 points to 1,602.5.

Turnover surged to 88,506 lots from 31,631 lots on Friday, while open interest climbed to 136,730 contracts from 74,284 contracts.            

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI lost 7.83 points to 1,610.47 from Friday’s close of 1,618.30.
