FBM KLCI Futures End Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher on Tuesday, mirroring the performance of the underlying cash market. 

Spot month October 2024 improved nine points to 1,615.0, November 2024 and March 2025 rose 8.5 points each to 1,618.5 and 1,611.0, respectively, and December 2024 declined 1.5 points to 1,622.0.

Turnover slipped to 30,138 lots from 88,506 lots, while open interest fell to 76,939 contracts from 136,730 contracts yesterday.            

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.61 points, or 0.29 per cent, to 1,615.08 from yesterday's close of 1,610.47.
