TCS Unit Bags RM86.38 Mln Contract To Build Factories For Sime Darby Property

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 (Bernama) -- TCS Group Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary TCS Construction Sdn Bhd (TCSC) has secured an RM86.38 million contract from Sime Darby Property Bhd to construct 60 units of two-storey semi-detached factories in Elmina Business Park, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, it said work involves two types of two-storey semi-detached factories and four units of double chamber substations.

“The construction period of the contract is 24 months from Dec 5, 2024, and the completion date shall be on Dec 4, 2026,” it said today.

In a separate statement, TCS managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said the award supports the building and infrastructure construction services provider’s growth momentum, giving it strong earnings visibility for the next two to three years.

“We are seeing positive market conditions with stable material costs and a rise in both public and private sector projects.

“This favourable environment points to sustained growth in the construction industry, and TCS is well-positioned to take advantage of these opportunities,” he said.
