TCS Group Bags RM611.30 Mln Contract For Pan Borneo Highway In Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- TCS Group Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, TCS Construction Sdn Bhd (TCSC), has secured a RM611.30 million contract from Sabah Public Works Department for the construction of the Pan Borneo Sabah Highway Phase 1B.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the project involves the construction of a new highway and road upgrading works, covering an 18.2-kilometre stretch between Telupid and Kampung Lumou Baru, which will be upgraded to a dual carriageway, including four new bridges.

“The duration of the contract is 42 months, commencing from Dec 20, 2024, and is scheduled for completion by June 19, 2028,” it said.

TCS managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said the contract win has further boosted the group’s order book and provides healthy earnings visibility for the coming years.

“We continue to be upbeat on the construction industry as the public and private sector’s projects rollout gain more traction,” he said.
