FBM KLCI Futures Close Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly lower today in tandem with the underlying cash market performance. 

The spot-month November 2024 contract rose 3.5 points to 1,598.5, while December 2024 eased 2.5 points to 1,595.0, March 2025 edged down 0.5 of-a-point 1,585.5, and June 2025 dropped 2.0 points to 1,591.0.

Turnover declined to 10,602 lots from 13,163 lots on Thursday while open interest slid to 51,141 contracts versus 56,229 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slid 3.20 points or 0.20 per cent to 1,594.29 from Thursday’s close of 1,597.49.
