Takaful Ikhlas General Wins Team Of The Year Award

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 (Bernama) -- Takaful Ikhlas General Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd (MNRB), has been named Team of the Year (General Insurance and Takaful) at the Malaysia Management Excellence Awards 2024.

The recognition highlights the company’s exceptional contributions to revolutionising the takaful industry through innovation and superior customer experiences, Takaful Ikhlas said in a statement today.

MNRB interim president and group chief executive officer Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin, who is also Takaful Ikhlas General president and chief executive officer, said: “We are deeply honored to receive this recognition, which underscores the relentless efforts of the Takaful Ikhlas team in reshaping the takaful landscape.

“This milestone inspires us to constantly enhance our services and offerings to meet the needs of those who place their trust in us.”

Takaful Ikhlas said that among its key innovations is the establishment of its non-physical branches, Virtual Ikhlas Points, which have expanded from five to 10 virtual branches in financial year 2024.

“Also, the digital motor claims ecosystem facilitates seamless claim processing with e-submissions, live video inspections, real-time updates, and e-payment.

“Additionally, Takaful Ikhlas introduced a virtual interactive process for flood-related claims, ensuring that settlements are completed within three days. These initiatives solidify Takaful Ikhlas as a frontrunner in the industry,” it said.

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to innovation by introducing Go by Takaful Ikhlas in 2021.

“This digital ecosystem has redefined the customers’, agents’, and partners’ experience by integrating several key components to meet the diverse needs of its stakeholders.

“This includes GO Direct, an online platform that allows customers to easily select and subscribe takaful products, and GO Serve, a self-service customer portal which enables customers to manage certificates, submit claims, and access assistance anytime, anywhere,” it said.

Takaful Ikhlas said that for agents, GO Partner delivers a resource-rich portal to enhance efficiency and service quality.

“Meanwhile, GO Financial supports bancatakaful partners with a self-service platform that streamlines sales and support processes, and GO Connect, an open API (application programming interface) platform, facilitates smooth partner integration,” it added.
