FBM KLCI Futures Close Flat And Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended unchanged and lower today in view of the negative performance of the underlying cash market.

The spot month December 2024 and January 2025 contracts were unchanged at 1,614.0 and 1,619.0 respectively while March 2025 and June 2025 contracts shed 1.0 point each to 1,602.0 and 1,608.5.

Turnover declined to 3,952 lots from 4,583 lots on Thursday, while open interest was trimmed to 36,545 contracts versus 36,998 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI lost 2.39 points to 1,613.25 from Thursday’s close of 1,615.64.
