FBM KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were lower in early trading, tracking the underlying cash market.

At 9.18 am, December 2024 slid 11.0 points to 1,585.0, January 2025 fell 10.5 points to 1,589.50, March 2025 reduced 10.0 points to 1,574.50, and June 2025 decreased 12.5 points to 1,579.0.

Turnover amounted to 1,556 lots, with open interest at 38,820 contracts.

At 9.35 am, the benchmark FBM KLCI eased 6.86 points to 1,592.72 from Wednesday’s close of 1,599.58.
