FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today.

At the close, the December 2024 and January 2025 contracts eased 1.0 point each to 1,595 and 1,599.0, respectively, March 2025 slipped 0.5 of-a-point to 1,584.0, and June 2025 was 3.0 points weaker at 1,588.5.

Turnover advanced to 8,244 lots from 4,990 lots on Wednesday while open interest increased to 44,139 contracts versus 41,525 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI edged up 0.51 of-a-point to 1,600.09 from Wednesday’s close of 1,599.58.
