FBM KLCI Futures Post Early Gains As Benchmark Index Advances

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded mostly higher in early trade today.

At 9.20 am, December 2024 and January 2025 contracts were unchanged at 1,589.50 and 1,595.00 respectively. March 2025 rose 0.5 of-a-point to 1,580.50, while June 2025 added 4.5 points to 1,590.00.  

Turnover stood at 860 lots, with open interest totalling 38,947 contracts.  

As of 9.38 am, the benchmark FBM KLCI advanced 7.84 points to 1,599.25, compared with Friday’s close of 1,591.41.
