FBM KLCI Futures Close Mixed

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mixed today. 

At the close, the December 2024 contract rose 0.5 of-a-point to 1,590.00 while January 2025 fell 0.5 of-a-point to 1,594.50, March 2025 slid 2.0 points to 1,578.0 and June 2025 was unchanged at 1,585.50.

Turnover improved to 11,341 lots from 7,703 lots on Friday while open interest widened to 48,085 contracts against 44,108 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.79 points or 0.3 per cent to 1,596.20 compared to Friday’s close of 1,591.41.
