FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded higher in early trade today.

At 9.22 am, the December 2024 contract rose 5.5 points to 1,602.0, January 2025 added 4.5 points to 1,606.0, March 2025 gained 3.5 points to 1,588.5, and June 2025 edged up 3.0 points to 1,593.5.

Turnover stood at 1,465 lots, with open interest totalling 44,966 contracts.

As of 9.39 am, the benchmark FBM KLCI had advanced 5.17 points to 1,608.16, compared with Tuesday's close of 1,602.99.

Bursa Malaysia Bhd and its subsidiaries were closed yesterday in conjunction with Christmas Day.
