Gold Futures Rebound To Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- Gold futures rebounded to end higher on Thursday on renewed interest as traders returned after the Christmas holiday.

The spot-month December 2024 contract increased to US$2,626.10 per troy ounce from US$2,618.10 on Tuesday, and January 2025 went up to US$2,639.20 per troy ounce from US$2,631.20.

February 2025, March 2025 and April 2025 all settled higher at US$2,649.30 per troy ounce compared with US$2,641.40 on Tuesday.

Trading volume totalled 34 lots compared to nil on Tuesday, while open interest widened to 40 contracts from 16 contracts previously.
