FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.

At the close, the December 2024 and June 2025 contracts rose 11.5 points to 1,636.0 and 1,629.0, respectively, while January 2025 gained 13.0 points to 1,639.0 and March 2025 advanced 13.5 points to 1,624.0. 

Turnover declined to 16,639 lots from 71,659 lots last Friday, while open interest narrowed to 64,808 contracts from 113,387 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI climbed 9.54 points, or 0.59 per cent, to 1,637.68 from Friday’s close of 1,628.14.
