FBM KLCI Futures Mostly Lower In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were mostly lower in early trading today.

At 9.35 am, the new spot month January 2025 eased 2.5 points to 1,639.5, February 2025 rose 4.0 points to 1,646.0, March 2025 fell 4.0 points to 1,623.0, and June 2025 dipped 3.5 points to 1,629.0.

Turnover stood at 858 lots, with open interest at 36,723 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI declined 8.21 points to 1,634.12, down from Tuesday's close of 1,642.33 after 35 minutes of trading.

The market was closed on Wednesday for the New Year holiday.
