FBM KLCI Futures Weaker In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were lower in the early trade today.

At 9.45 am, the January 2025 contract fell by four points to 1,609.0 and February 2025 lost three points to 1,614.5. March 2025 and June 2025 slid by five points each to 1,596.0 and 1,601.0, respectively.

Turnover stood at 1,188 lots, with open interest at 38,158 contracts.

After 48 minutes of trading, the benchmark FBM KLCI decreased 5.49 points to 1,609.34, compared to Monday's close of 1,614.83.
