FBM KLCI Futures End Higher In Line With Cash Market's Performance

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, mirroring the positive performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2025 gained 16.5 points to 1,567.0, February 2025 jumped 18.0 points to 1,570.5,  March 2025 improved 17.0 points to 1,552.5 and June 2025 rose 19.5 points to 1,561.5.

Turnover increased to 10,768 lots from 9,578 on Thursday, while open interest narrowed to 44,886 contracts from 45,768 yesterday.  

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rebounded 11.18 points to 1,566.72 from Thursday’s close of 1,555.54.
