FBM KLCI Futures Rise In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were higher in early trading today.

At 9.35 am, January 2025 gained 2.0 points to 1,566.0, while February 2025 and March 2025 rose 3.0 points each to 1,569.0 and 1,551.0, respectively. June 2025 added 2.5 points to 1,559.5.

Turnover reached 5,895 lots, with open interest at 41,338 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI jumped 7.18 points to 1,579.52 after 45 minutes of trading, compared with yesterday’s close of 1,566.72.
