FBM KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were lower in early trading today.

At 9.39 am, January 2025, February 2025 and March 2025 shed 9.5 points each to 1,572.0, 1,575.5 and 1,557.5 respectively while June 2025 slid 6.0 points to 1,569.0.

Turnover reached 1,689 lots, with open interest at 39,386 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI dropped 7.84 points to 1,579.96 after one hour and 20 minutes of trading, compared with yesterday’s close of 1,587.80.
