FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Friday.

At the close, January 2025 fell 11.5 points to 1,559.5, February 2025 and June 2025 slid 13.0 points each to 1,561.5 and 1,552.0, respectively, while March 2025 slipped 12.0 points to 1,544.5.

Turnover increased to 30,987 lots from 11,416 lots yesterday, while open interest widened to 70,293 contracts from 49,011 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 3.47 points to 1,573.73 from yesterday’s close of 1,577.20.
