FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, January 2025 fell 7.0 points to 1,552.5, February 2025 decreased 11.0 points to 1,550.5, March 2025 slipped 9.5 points to 1,535.0, and June 2025 slid 8.0 points to 1,544.0.

Turnover surged to 76,290 lots from 30,987 lots on Friday, while open interest jumped to 124,520 contracts compared to 70,293 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined by 14.76 points to end at 1,558.97 compared to Friday’s close of 1,573.73.
