FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the underlying cash market performance. 

At the close, the January 2025 contract climbed 9.5 points to 1,561.0, February 2025 rose 3.5 points to 1,557.0, March 2025 added 1.5 points to 1,539.5 and June 2025 increased 2.5 points to 1,549.0.

Turnover fell to 13,946 lots from 18,231 lots on Tuesday, while open interest narrowed to 47,219 contracts against 59,176 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI  rose 4.23 points to 1,556.92 compared to Tuesday’s close of 1,552.69.
