Mulpha International To Dispose Of Shopping Mall, Marina In Australia For RM233.42 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- Mulpha International Bhd (MIB) has entered into a contract for the disposal of a shopping centre, Capri on Via Roma, and associated marina located in Queensland, Australia for A$85.5 million (RM233.42 million).

The sale was conducted through Mulpha Capri Retail Pty Ltd to Capri Holding GC Pty Ltd. 

"The proposed disposal will enable MIB group to recycle its invested capital, strengthening the group’s cash flow," MIB said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today. 

It added that the sale proceeds from the proposed disposal were intended to repay bank borrowings associated with the property, with the remainder to be utilised by MIB Group as part of its business activities.

MIB said the disposal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
