MATTA Fair 2025 Expected To Attract Over 210,00 Visitors, RM270 Mln In Sales

SUBANG JAYA, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2025 from April 18-20 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur is expected to draw over 210,000 visitors.

MATTA president Nigel Wong said the 56th edition of the international fair is also expected to generate more than RM270 million in sales.

"We are looking at about 500 booths, so it is very big.

"So we will be focusing a lot more on new domestic products. We have eight state tourism organisations (that would be) participating (in the event)," he told a press conference here today.

Aside from domestic products, Wong said the MATTA Fair will also provide products and services to outbound destinations.

Japan, Taiwan, India, China and some South African countries will be participating in the event as well, he added.

MATTA will also be organising the inaugural Business to Business (B2B) event MATTA Connect to provide an opportunity for sellers from various countries to connect with local buyers to explore new international destinations and establish new business partnerships.

MATTA Connect will be held on April 17, 2025, at MITEC, a day before the MATTA Fair.
