FBM KLCI Futures Close Firmer

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended firmer today in line with the underlying cash market.

At the close, February 2025 gained 9.0 points to 1,600.0, March 2025 increased 8.0 points to 1,580.50, June 2025 added 8.5 points to 1,584.5, while September 2025 contract rose 7.0 points to 1,564.50.

Turnover increased to 7,676 lots from 5,589 lots on Monday, while open interest expanded to 44,837 contracts against 38,761 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI closed at its intraday high of 1,603.05, up 13.10 points or 0.8 per cent compared to Monday’s close of 1,589.95.
