OCBC Bank Launches First Premier Private Client Centre In Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Bhd has officially launched its flagship OCBC Premier Private Client Centre to double its premier client base in the country within five years.

The centre was officially opened by Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil today, who is also the Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai, where the centre is located.

OCBC Bank chief executive officer Tan Chor Sen said the premier private client centre is tailored for high-net-worth individuals with assets under management of at least RM3 million.

“As the wealth management landscape evolves, so do clients’ expectations. Our premier private client services operate within a cohesive OCBC ‘One Group’ framework, allowing us to deliver integrated solutions.

“The new centre provides the ideal setting where clients can expect privacy with discreet entry and exit to the private lounge for meaningful discussions with their client advisors,” he told reporters at the opening ceremony.

The centre is the first of its kind outside the bank’s home country, Singapore.

Occupying an impressive 18,000 square feet, the centre is strategically positioned in the accessible Bangsar residential neighbourhood, offering convenient proximity to the city centre.

Notably, the centre features an in-house dining experience, serving curated local cuisine straight from its fully functional on-site kitchen during meetings with client advisors.

It is supported by a service team primarily composed of former airline crew members.

The centre will also host exclusive, by-invitation-only events, offering unique experiences such as private tastings, art showcases, and private viewings with renowned experts and lifestyle privileges, all designed to enhance clients’ wealth management journeys.
